In suburban Point Chevalier, a modern family home was designed to replace an existing dwelling. The brief called for a timeless, memorable, and enduring residence—a place where our clients could raise their two young boys. The home was envisioned as boldly sculptural, playful, and distinctive.
Point Chevalier showcases a diverse architectural landscape, blending classic 1920s–1940s bungalows and Art Deco homes with modern, architect-designed residences.
This home takes shape as a sculpted geometric form, carefully responding to its surroundings and integrating seamlessly with the rhythm and texture of the street. It offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional suburban home, striking a balance between bold, dynamic design and contextual sensitivity.
