Jerome Buckwell
With a long list of diverse credits to his name, Jerome is a vastly experienced and versatile architect with an extensive understanding of the design and delivery process – and a potentially borderline obsession with high standards.
He is particularly skilled at understanding the balance between innovation and creativity, and clients’ commercial realities. This makes him equally at home designing both large multi-unit dwellings, and simple coastal retreats.
With parents who were an architect and designer, respectively, and grandparents who were European furniture-makers, design is literally in his DNA. Jerome has also worked previously with top design practices in Sydney and London. Before joining Crosson Architects in 2018, he was a principal at one of New Zealand’s largest practices, Jasmax.
Among his less useful skills are an ability to converse in basic Swedish.
